Adam Steffey joins the show to talk about the new Boxcars record. He also talks in depth about the bluegrass program at East Tennessee State University and his role in teaching the music business there. He also talks about the things that got him interested in music and his history in bluegrass bands.

They also discuss the impact of social media on the creative side. Justin announces his initiative to put a new band together in the open and runs down some of the latest news in bluegrass music.

Justin does a year-in-review for 2015 and then is joined by Jon Weisberger for a discussion about his career. They cover Jon's early days of getting started in Ohio, making the move to Nashville to establishing himself as a bass player. This episode is part 1 of 2 of the interview.

Tim Stafford was generous with his time and joined Justin for a phone interview. He broke some news about the new member of Blue Highway and talked about his time with Dusty Miller and Alison Krauss & Union Station in addition to Blue Highway. They also discussed Tim's biography on Tony Rice.

Justin describes the process of making his newest recording titled Beyond Measure: The EP. He explains how he put some of the songs together, what he used to record and how he named the tunes. He also shares where the inspiration came from.

Episode three features a lengthy interview with Keith Garrett of the band The Boxcars. Keith discusses his early days of getting interested in the guitar and singing, early bands and playing in competitions. He and Justin discuss the IBMA Awards to some length toward the end of the show...plus favorite tv shows, food, etc.

This episode is spent describing life on the road and specifically a trip last weekend, a trip to Cincinnati for baseball and ideas for future episodes. Also at the end there's a song played on the banjo to fulfill a Facebook request.

This first episode features an interview with Sierra Hull conducted in September 2014. It covers her early life and career all the way up to her yet-to-be released project.
